VTech Holdings UX-UI Designer interview questions

After submitting the application in about 10 days, received an email from an HR staff on Friday afternoon and requested me to finish a UX design task and send it back on the next Monday. The task requests to do a lot of work, user research, wireflow, hi-fi mockups and prototype.... They didn't expect that if the candidate have time to do it.... After sent it back, got a reply from the HR staff and said the hiring team will review it. Then ghosted, and never received any feedback. Candidates spent a lot of time on the task, even though the outcome may not be as expected. As a big company, they should send an email informing candidates about the hiring decision. It's so disappointing to put effort into the task but didn't receive respect.
