Applied online. Received an email a week later by an HR assistant asking to schedule a phone interview. This coincided with some activity on my website/video portfolio from a single unique IP - I'm assuming the HR assistant was browsing my work. The phone interview with the HR person was pretty typical, nothing unexpected. The next day she scheduled a second-round interview for me with her (I don't know why she was there.) and the two other videographers over Zoom. This was also a pretty easy interview, although the videographers seemed a little janky. For instance I don't think the lead videographer had even looked at my resume because he kept saying things about my skillset and experience that weren't true. And I know for a fact that neither of the videographers had even seen any of the videos on my portfolio (I can tell they didn't because I monitor the analytics assiduously) - odd, considering they're hiring for a video production role. To sum it up, the lead videographer just seemed kind of incompetent and condescending; the other videographer was a bit more open and curious but still a bit disgruntled. They never came back to my website to review my work and sent me a rejection email first thing the next morning.
