**Interview Process Review** The interview process began with a phone screen, and I have to commend the recruiter for being exceptionally nice and knowledgeable about the brand and the role. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and was very pleasant to talk to, which made the experience enjoyable. However, I received a rejection letter shortly after. It seemed the reason was being overqualified, as the recruiter mentioned they were looking for “someone more green.” If that was the case, it raises the question of why I was interviewed in the first place—perhaps hoping I’d accept a lower salary despite my experience. While the recruiter was great, this aspect of the process felt like a waste of time and a missed opportunity for clarity upfront.
