Applied online through LinkedIn and quickly got a message asking to interview. We spoke that day, very conversationally and she moved me on to meet the hiring manager. I met with the hiring manager the next week and had a great chat about workplace culture and expectations of the job. He promised me a meeting with the CEO within the next two days. And then… nothing. I kept up with follow ups and still nothing. I then decided to reach out to the original person I spoke to on LinkedIn after a month. After another week, she told me that they had moved on to someone else, so lots of wasted time and energy on my part.
