It was very situation oriented. Lots of questions. Lots of brain picking. I definitely suggest preparing before by thinking through specific clinical examples (questions were centered on team work, conflict, safety, resources, personal skills, why vanderbilt and why the specific unit)

Had us first answer recorder interview questions then put us with a specific floor to interview with, making it hard to see all of our opportunities that we could have chosen from. Interview questions itself were not difficult that were asked in the interview with the floor manager.

Interview
I applied online and then went through an interview process via video, you were asked 5 questions that were prerecorded and sent in. Then if you’re selected there is a 30 minute phone call/Zoom session (mine was with two individuals) to elaborate on your answers to questions and talk about the unit. The questions were typical of an interview and not too tricky, and the zoom was professional but relaxed and comfortable.
