I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vanguard (Charlotte, NC) in Aug 2016
Interview
The first interview was a phone screening with a recruiter. It was about 30 minutes long. They ask questions like tell me about vanguard, why vanguard, general tell me about a time whens.
If you get through the this step. The recruiter calls and send you an email telling you about the next step and sends you information to help you with the next step. For example how to dress, study STAR questions, video links so that you would know more about the company, etc.
The 3rd interview is a little more nerve wrecking. You meet a group of about 10-12 other candidates. They show you a tour of the facilities and give you a glimpse of the perks. A employee that worked the position prior, give a presentation and there is a Q&A session.
After that you are given a scenario where you have to answer some questions to determine problem solving skills, and to assess how you handle situations and customer interaction.
Then you are interviewed by 2 separate employers where they go through the scenario questions and you have to do role play. And you are also asked about 5-7 STAR questions.
