I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vanguard in Aug 2018
Interview
I applied online. Received an email back to set up a short conversation to "learn more about the position andcompany" and more about my experience.
I spoke on the phone with a recruiter who sounded over the conversation before it began. Instead of having a short conversation about the company and position, the interview turned into a technical one that I was not warned about.
When I was speaking about my experience, I was questioned in an aggressive tone why my resume didn't have certain aspects on it.
Overall, the conversation was now an interview that was extremely uncomfortable.
It was a 2 round process one with HR and the other with the manager they dug deep on my resume and my past projects and previous working experience along with behavioral questions.
Met with Team Leader via online meeting. Basic programming questions, became more broad. He was late, it was a Friday morning, and it looked like he had just woken up.

They started by introducing themselves and giving me a quick overview of the company, the team structure, and what the role would involve. Then they asked me to talk a bit about myself and walk through my resume. I highlighted a few projects that matched the job description, and they seemed really interested in my work with data visualization.
