The initial interview was fairly simple. Why did you apply to Vanguard? Name a time when you had to deal with a difficult client or person? I was selected to move on to do an on-sight interview. The second round interview lasted for 4 or 5 hours and consisted of 3 interviews: 1 behavioral and 2 case studies "How would you handle this situation?"

Question 1
Probably the last case study where you had to diffuse a situation with a client. Said client was upset and wanted to take his funds out of the company due to the negligence of another Specialist.
Interview was good, Interviewer provided alot of information containing to the job description and the benefits. They provided STAR example questions to get a better understanding of who I was and what I can possibly offer to the environment

The interview was a two step process, the phone screen was about 15 mins and they were mainly looking for clarity of your voice and if you are articulate. The virtual 1-on-1 interview was fairly easy, about 6 STAR-based questions regarding customer service, communication skills, and learning agility.
