I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Vanguard (Malvern, PA) in Sep 2018
Interview
Had one initial phone screen then was flown to Malvern for a super day. Mainly behavioral questions and a group round table. Everyone was very friendly and seemed interested in knowing more about you.
Simple process. Went through Drexel with the co-op program. One phone call and then one in person interview with direct manager and then a week later received the offer. Pretty straight forward. Great company and good people.
The process spanned 3 rounds. First was resume and technical questions. Second was coding DSA and regressions. Third was research questions. Overall people were very nice, the process went smooth and fairly quickly.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Vanguard
Interview
Very chill, just behavior questions. Asked me about my communication style, what courses/knowledge of data science/machine learning that I had. Why I wanted to work in finance. It was very enjoyable/conversational.
