Interview
The focus is on customer service and problem solving. It is critical that you can show experience or aptitude in both. When hiring internal, the focus is more about what have you done at Vanguard. When interviewing from external, utilized all the experience you can, because it will likely be discounted when you are actually in the company.

Interview
The interview process was a half day commitment, which began with an orientation and then two-part interview. One of which included a 1-on-1 behavior based line of questioning, aka the STAR format. Part 2 of the interview was a case study dealing with a customer situation, and two managers allow you time to review before they come in and ask you questions directly related to the study.
