Interview
The interview process consisted of the following steps:
1. Recruiter Conversation
2. Hiring Manager
3. Virtual Onsite (3 30-Minute Parts)
Overall, I found the experience incredibly insightful and distinctly "human". There are some companies where you can sense a need for performative-ness at the expense of your personality. Vanta's team from the beginning to end made an effort to not only ensure you were the right fit for the role, but to actually engage and connect along the way.

Question 1
How would you handle + prioritize within a large book of business?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vanta in Aug 2023
Interview
Straight-forward interview process. The recruiter was great about moving things along. I would've liked a little more communication along the way, like a follow-up call set for after each interview (or some tracker) to keep me informed about the interview status. Besides this, the process was smooth and took about three weeks, which I believe is fast. 1. Recruiter screening call to discuss expectations and qualify 2. Call with hiring manager 3. Team interview and mock presentation 4. Reference check 5. Offer
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very consultative interviews. Maybe that's just how I interview--I don't wait for people to ask me questions. I dive in to get to know them, pick their brains and learn about the opportunity. They asked some of the typical questions about building customer relationships, growing revenue, demonstrating results, get to know my principles/values, explore cultural fit, etc. but it was more of a conversation rather than a test. If you're the right fit, it'll feel natural and you'll love the interviews.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vanta (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2025
Interview
A smooth and efficient hiring process, just one month from initial InMail to offer. It included an HR screening, a call with the hiring manager, three team interviews, and a case study. Everyone was engaged and genuinely interested, leading to great conversations. Vanta moved fast, sending feedback and an offer within 24 hours, reflecting their values and fast-paced environment, an important factor in the decision to join. Kudos to the team!

Question 1
Why Vanta? Especially in relation to the fast paced environment
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Vanta (New York, NY) in Mar 2025
Interview
The recruiter screen was poorly conducted. It didn't follow typical recruiter screen flow and ended early without a rundown of the position, compensation, benefits, etc. It felt rush and the recruiter was all over the place.
