Vaxcyte interview questions

Initial phone screen & then HR interview. Met with hiring manager followed by multiple individual interviews with directors and would-be colleagues. Half-day on-site interview followed by hour long presentation to the technical development team. Too long and repetitive (same questions asked by multiple people) of a process to interview a candidate. Don't cite lack of experience in a particular area as a reason to not extend an offer when that fact is known from the beginning, wasting everyone's time.

Lengthy, technical, in depth, multiple stages of interviews. Had 4 interviews in 2 weeks for two different departments. They basically strung me along, told me I was their first candidate and then went dark on both positions with no feedback. I found out later the hired from within. Kind of shady and unprofessional.
