I had 3 interviews via video conferencing after an initial screening with HR. Also spoke with my contact in HR in-between each interview. The first two seemed to be inconvenienced as they looked like they just got back from softball practice and were completely uninterested. The 3rd was very nice and seemed engaged. Each time I interviewed I took time off, and while I never felt confident it was a good fit, I was surprised that I never received any communication after the final interview. I reached out to check on the status and received the response, "After reviewing your information, we have unfortunately decided not to move forward. We wish you nothing but the best with your job search" ...the week of Christmas. The interview process was extremely time consuming and then to get no response, followed by a canned response. SO unprofessional. Left such a bad taste in my mouth and my peers that referred me were horrified.
