Long interview process about 2 months. Contacted by recruiter, phone interview with hm after one week, 7 round 1：1 panel interview with team members and different managers in the following week without presentation, get good feedback after panel interview and they arranged site tour around the company in the following week. Wait for another week and they ask for references. Then another week, they said my offer was sent to hq for approval. Offer accepted. After that. They do one week background check. Finally, onboard! I want to say that although the process is long, the recruiter at veeco is really good. He can communicate and provide feedback very efficiently and give very good thoughts about the position I applied. The people at veeco are professional and friendly. They try to make things as transparent as possible. They even arranged the panel interviews in two days to avoid tireness in one day. I feel that they really care about people. Overall I think this is a very good place to work.

Reached out by a recruiter who appeared to be an external contractor. The recruiter provided useful info about the position but set up the first round of interview without knowing the hiring manager was on vacation. The interview with the hiring manager went well. He explained what he was looking for and we spent most of the time discussing my past experience. He said he would get back to me in a couple of days. But never hear back after following up twice. Overall it was an easy interview but not the most professional HR to work with.
