I applied online. I interviewed at Veeva Systems (Budapest) in Aug 2020
Interview
I applied through the company website. After a couple of days I got an email from HR to schedule an interview with them. The only available slot was three weeks from then which I found a little bit long but scheduled the interview anyway.
The HR interview lasted about 30 min and they asked general questions about me, why I applied and how much I know about the company and the position. After the interview the recruiter said we can move on to the next stage which would be the case study and presentation.
I had to wait around 2 weeks to get the description of the exercise and after reading the requirements I almost didn't do it because it required a lot of work and preparation and I didn't think it would be worth the effort. But I did the exercise anyway, which was about exploring and presenting their system to a fictitious customer and configure the system according to their needs.
I had to present it to the hiring manager in 50 minutes. During the presentation the hiring manager asked some questions to check how much I know the system but mostly they were not tricky questions. He just wanted to see how I'm thinking during the whole presentation.
After the case study the hiring manager scheduled another interview with me which was basically about getting to know me personally and how my work experience relates to the position.
After that I had 3 more interviews, one with a team member currently in this position, one with another manager and a 3rd one with the program director. Everyone was very nice and the interviews were very conversational and the goal was for them to get to know if personally I would be a good fit for the company but I could also ask questions about the position and what it is like to work there.
After the last interview I had a quick catch up call with the hiring manager where he offered me the position and sent me the official offer a couple hours later.

Question 1
The questions were mainly about getting to know me and why I applied for this position.
Relatively quick but kind of irrelevant to the job itself. Requires probing on resume over and over. A few personality test questions and then the main interview of over an hour. The veeva systems need to familiarized with before making a task happen for the exam

Difficult situation in your job and how you overcame it
long, 6 interviews to get rejected after a personality test as the final round. The second round was a technical assessment, after which I had 4 more rounds with different people asking me pretty similar questions.
It was informal, quick and friendly, interview was around 30-45 minutes. Interview was given before the personality test. Personality test was quite exhausting, long and difficult. Replied to emails very quickly.
