I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VelocityEHS (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2018
Interview
First, I was reached out to by a recruiter via LinkenIn messaging. Then, we set up a phone screening that lasted about 30 min. The screening was a base interview, asking questions about my resume/experience, going over expectations and goals for this position. They gave me a very realistic overview of the position. Then, I was brought in to shadow a sales rep and for two interviews, one with each sales team. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly kind and answered all of my questions. Pretty standard interview.

Interview
It was a very easy interview process. Started with a generic introduction phone call followed by a longer phone interview with the recruiter. After that I was invited to a final in person or Skype interview. I opted for Skype as I am from out of state and they do not pay for your travel like a lot of other companies. I spoke with two managers that were awkwardly Skyping from an Ipad. They kept having to shift the iPad around to have the camera on them. During the interview very elementary questions were asked, nothing specific or difficult. After around 30 minutes the one manager deemed that I would be unhappy in an inside sales role based on my past experiences. I found it rather comical that after 30 minutes of EXTREMELY simple questions he somehow thought he know my views on inside sales. I feel bad for his team as I am sure they have to deal with quite a bit of projections coming internally from this individual. Also rather shocking a software company is unable to Skype in a more professional manor.
