      Stock Associate Interview

      Aug 5, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Las Vegas, NV
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Vera Bradley (Las Vegas, NV) in Aug 2017

      Interview

12/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND LAS VEGAS LOCATION IN SOUTH PREMIUM OUTLETS. Very awkward and uncomfortable... Had a screening interview, it ended, then was called 15 minutes later to come back for another interview because there was a misunderstanding. No verbal job offer was given, but they assumed I accepted it and sent me the emails for the offer. I responded politely reiterating that I have a couple more interviews happening and they responded with a long, crazy-girlfriend-esque email.

      Question 1

My screening interview was the AGM pointing out things from my application.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Vera Bradley in Apr 2019

      Interview

I applied for this position at the Vera Bradley Outlet in Chesterfield. The entire experience was very odd. They called me multiple times to set up an interview but never left me voicemails asking for me to call them back. I don't answer unknown numbers so when they called for the 4th time I picked up and it was Vera Bradley. The gal seemed super sweet and she picked a date and time for the interview. I told her I worked full time and would come right after I got off work and would probably be a little late due to traffic. The gal said it was absolutely fine and she would be there from 5-10 p.m. and to just take my time. The night of the interview I got stuck in traffic and gave her a call letting her know that I would be a little late like we discussed. She completely changed her tone and was very rude. "I WAS WONDERING I NEVER HEARD FROM YOU." I apologized being professional and she said she could not get me in for an interview because she was leaving in ten minutes. I didn't appreciate her attitude or tone or her unprofessional ism. Her story changed, her attitude changed, and I don't understand what interview takes ten minutes. (I was only ten minutes late). She said "I GUESS I can set up an interview at another time for this week." I will not be attending the interview because of how rude she was. I am already overqualified for the position and don't feel like wasting my time with rude/unprofessional managers. I also think if you're trying to market a position, try to be honest and a little kinder. You also lost a customer. I will now apply for Coach.

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Vera Bradley

      Interview

They just went through my Resume and asked random questions based on that. They do not have any questions prepared. My interview took five minutes. They don't keep track of their questions so don't be surprised when they ask three times what your availability is. They LOVE it when you use their core values!

      Question 1

If you have a busy weekend coming up but the store looks like a mess, would you fix the store or would you stock the sales floor.
