The interview process was so professional and organized. I turned in my online application and within two days a human resource specialist called me to interview with the district manager, i interviewed with her and within two days interviewed with the HR specialist and within a week did my final interview with the Director of Retail Operations. Everyone was so friendly and kind and I was blown away with the truly genuine people that I interviewed with and professionalism.

The whole interview process was extremely lengthy. The company did not stick to their time line. They seemed to lead me on to believe I was a top
candidate. A few weeks later they sent a
Generic form reject letter via email. I would expect a more professional means of communication, particularly because of the brand reputation. I was extremely disappointed with the communication from a company known to have high standards.

Interview
Met at Barnes & Noble for coffee and interview with regional manager. She was interested in understanding my retail experience, and was open about the store and the company's desire to increase its sales. It was interesting to have the face-to-face interview before I got a call from the HR department asking the typical HR questions. The manager was friendly and invested in what I could bring to the company.
