Felt like I did well during interview process. Got an offer and after some negotiating I accepted. Was required to take a drug test which I failed due to THC in my system. It's 2025. I can't believe some employers are screening for this in pre-employment. It's legal in many states and stays in the body far too long. I'm disappointed. I feel like they are the ones who are losing out on a great employee just because I ate one edible a few weeks prior to coming to the conclusion to look for work. They didn't even call me to discuss or talk about why I had those test results instead they sent me an email saying they were revoking the offer. Oh well.
