3rd party recruiter contacted me about an open position and requested I apply. First interview was scheduled with two peer level employees and that went very well, with time running out when conversation could have easily continued. Recruiter notified me that the advertised salary was now being decreased by $20k with no explanation. 2nd interview, with hiring manager, was requested by Vericast but only given one time slot availability by that HM. Peer level colleague stalled for time while HM arrived on interview video chat 10 minutes late. HM asked a few perfunctory questions but it seemed like they already had another candidate in mind. A week later the recruiter informed me the HM chose an internal, previously unknown, candidate.
