1 - HR interview/screening 2 - interview with someone on the pricing team 3 - interview with hiring manager 4 - final interview with hiring manager's boss in charge of the pricing division Everything went well, the interviews were pleasant, and they communicated effectively with me. However when scheduling the final interview, I was unavailable for the original time slots they had so I asked them for availability a week out. HR said they'd have to check with the hiring manager because they wanted to make a decision soon. In the mean time I was able to shift my schedule to accomodate their original timings and not only did I put myself on their schedule, I also emailed HR to let them know I had done so and would be able to make the final interview. Yet, not only did they not consider my reply, they emailed me a day and a half later saying they had to cancel my interview because they had already offered the position to someone else who had accepted. If you already decided who to hire, why interview me? Why ask me to schedule that final interview? That shows zero respect to your candidates and their time. Clearly they were in a rush to get someone hired which does not reflect well on the company or its culture at all. They probably overwork their employees, at least in this department. I've never had a company I interviewed with disrespect my time to this extent before. This was a new low, and definitely not a respectable company or one worth pursuing.
