      Associate Targeting Analyst Interview

      Nov 18, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Livonia, MI
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vericast (Livonia, MI) in Oct 2015

      Interview

I was contacted by a recruiter within the company through LinkedIn asking if I was interested in applying for the position. The first stage of the interview was a fairly awkward online webcam based interview with 10 staged questions. Second stage was contacted by the same recruiter and asked If I would like to come in for an interview. We set up something for a Friday afternoon and I had to take the whole day off work because of drive time. 2 Days before the interview they attempted to move it to a different day because one of the interviewers became unavailable. As I had already requested the day off, I could not just change it without sending up red flags with my current employer. Eventually was able to keep my initial interview time and was to be interviewing with one of the original managers from the targeting department and another manager would step in to help out. When I arrived on the day, the second manager from the targeting department was not in the office, so they had pulled in yet another manager. So I was interviewing with two people not at all connected to the job I was interviewing for and the two managers who were supposed to interview me, had both backed out. This is not the first review on this webpage that I have seen where managers back out on interviews at the last second, essentially eliminating the interviewee from consideration simply because they wanted to get their weekend started sooner. If you are just looking for a job that pays decently, then I would still apply, but based on the reviews here and my experience, this is not a company that you want to build a career at.
