Applied and did phone screen two weeks apart with a recruiter named Mary out of Detroit. I was sent an assessment test and then called by the VP out of Florida for an "informal" get to know you conversation. Good conversation but the VP swore a lot on the call (I was not offended but it struck me as odd on an initial meeting). Met with VP a few weeks later for an informal meeting. VP was nice but indifferent. He talked about the desire to hire "diversity" but was very clear he did not mean race because that was "nothing more than affirmative action" (I'm a diverse candidate & was pretty sure I was out at this point). After 30 minutes of an informal meeting, I was told that I would probably do a panel interview next. Two months later, I was emailed about a panel interview (3 people - HR, VP and a Peer). I did the panel interview. Everyone was friendly, nothing unusual. After a month of not hearing anything, I finally emailed the recruiter who sent me a "turn down" email. Overall, neutral experience, but not the most professional. Good practice for navigating a multi-step interview process with an assessment.
