I was contacted by a consultancy for Verifone, ECity, Bengaluru. My interview was scheduled on 29th Nov 2017. It was F2F but 2 member panel. One of the interviewer started by asking to solve problems. And than once you were done he cross questioned the solution whatever I had written. I had written few things and there were few mistakes done by me as well. Now the most irritating part. If I was not able to answer something one the interviewer looked at the other guy and was smiling more like laughing at me for not knowing how to solve the problem. There was one question about implementation of runnable and callable for thread in java. I answered about run() not returning anything and call() returning future task. He asked how callable is implemented. I said its same as run() as I had already stated the difference. One interviewer was trying to make me understand the question as I might have got it wrong. But the other guy said' "He is saying both as same and smiling". I was so frustrated that I just wanted to get the interview over and leave. I just started saying I don't know for the questions. Last question was "Do you want to know anything". My answer was "NO". They told me to wait outside for feedback. I got out of the office without waiting for feedback. I pinged the contact person HR about the behavior of the interview panel. I did not knew the name of the interviewer a he never introduced himself to me. HR acknowledged my issue and has told me will be taking the matter seriously. Interviewer should understand that people do not know everything. We all are learners. Being the opposite side of the table is easier. One should encourage others rather than trying to make them wrong.
