I recently interviewed and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. During the interview, I was unable to answer a few technical questions. Instead of handling it professionally, the interviewer reacted in a very rude and loud manner. He questioned my preparation in an aggressive tone and even pointed at my resume saying things like, “Q3 Best Performer? Then why can’t you answer?” – all while raising his voice.
I understand interviews can be stressful for both sides, but I believe respect and professionalism are essential, regardless of a candidate’s performance. This kind of behavior does not reflect well on the company culture, and I hope future candidates are treated with more courtesy.
