Verisign couldn't get me in the door fast enough to interview me. The morning after I applied, the recruiter urged me to come onsite the following day "because we move very quickly".
The day of the interview, the recruiting coordinator emailed me an hour before the onsite interview to say the interview was getting delayed by 30 minutes (first yellow flag). Once onsite, the RC showed me around the facilities (sponsored cafeteria, gym, private covered parking, etc.) then placed me in a glass room.
Interviewers rotated through the room more or less on schedule. It was obvious that interviewers were being added and removed from the agenda on the fly, without adequate preparation for the interview (another yellow flag). The difficulty of the interviews themselves felt easy/average, perhaps owing to lack of preparation by the interviewers. The red flag for me was the inconsistent (sometimes conflicting) view interviewers had of the team or the role. When asked about timing and next steps, I was told "we'll make a decision early next week".
Leading up to the interview, I received calls and emails almost hourly from the recruiting team or HM. Afterward, I received no communication until 10 days later, when I receive an impersonal mass-email letting me know they'd found someone else, and no further communication was made.
Very off-putting experience as a candidate. Recruiting teams should take pride in "moving very quickly", but only once they're good at it.
