I was brought in to interview through a job consulting agency. Verisys is relatively new at adopting an Agile workflow and they wanted someone they could train with little experience in the project management field. *Most of the interviewees had never heard of or worked in an Agile environment.
I was brought in for the interview and was asked what I knew about Agile, specifically Scrum. I was asked about the players in the Scrum model as well as how to manage the meetings involved (Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective etc) and what artifacts and information radiators are used in an ideal Scrum environment (Burndown, Sprint Backlog etc).
I was then asked about the time frames that specific events had. How long should a Sprint last? How long does a Sprint planning/retrospective/demo take?
I was then given a few hypothetical situations and asked how I would handle them. One example I remember was, "If there is one team member that disagrees with the decisions of the rest of the team how would you solve and remove this impediment?"
