Asked pretty unrelated and difficult questions. Thought that there wasn’t enough being asked about financial background / analysis that I was expecting. I don’t know if this was normal or just a one off experience. Be prepared for questions about IoT, 5g, and other seemingly pointless “current” topics .
Got to phone interview stage, after some various written prompts. Spoke to the recruiter for approx. 30 minutes and never received word back. Pretty standard interview as far as questions go, but very unprofessional after I was told I would hear back at a certain point.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Basking Ridge, NJ) in Feb 2012
Interview
Applied through university's career website and also online. First round is a very basic and behavioral phone interview. Call you in within a week or two to their NJ headquarters for second round. Two more interviews, all behavioral.
