I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Wilmington, NC) in Jun 2014
Interview
The interview process is intense. The initial interview was an event. We had a tour, then interviewed separately w. 2 different people. After the first round of interviews, there was a test you had to pass, then a final interview w. HR. There is an extensive background check. Diplomas have to be submitted, and there is a drug test as well. Some fellow new hires had applied 2-3 times before being offered a position.
