I applied online. I interviewed at Verizon (Olympia, WA) in Feb 2017
Interview
Had a phone interview with a recruiter first. During this time they asked about the Verizon Ethos, asked some STAR questions, conducted a role play to sell some earphones, then ended the interview by reviewing all answers on the application. Next week, I was called back to do an in person interview at a local store. Met with the store manager and the district manager for two parts. After I completed the first part of the interview (questions) then we moved on to another role playing. I was under the impression that I would just be attempting to sell the customer a phone but after being stopped mid role play I realized, not only was I suppose to sell them the phone but also attempt to upsell them every product in the store (phone case, earphones, tablet, wifi hotspot). After the role playing we finished the in person interview with questions on what solutions I would provide for customers coming in to the store.

Question 1
Why verizon? What part of the Verizon ethos speaks to you?
Interview process was pretty straightforward. They tend to bypass a lot of the fluff and want to see how you act as a member of a team and what you are going to do when you are in a tough situation regarding numbers and meeting “quota.”

Question 1
What would you do if you saw a team member adding perks to a customers account but not disclosing what they were adding?
First time it was with a recruiter via phone, then I interviewed with the store manager via video call. A couple days later they sent me an offer, then a background check, then I was cleared to start
