I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Aug 2012
Interview
I was contacted by the hiring manager about a year ago. Could not interview back then. Contacted him again after graduation. Got scheduled an interview!
At first, I was scheduled a phone interview that took about 30 minutes. He asked about my career goals, my expectations, my skills, etc.
Got scheduled an "in person" interview a couple of weeks later. The "in person" interview lasted for a couple of hours. Got to meet and greet the team, talked to the manager, and got a tour of the workplace.
After 2-3 weeks, I got scheduled a 2nd "in person" interview. The 2nd interview was an offer! I accepted the offer. Drug test and background check took about 2 weeks. Overall process took over a month, but it's worth it!
