Interview
I was invited to appy for a position by HR personel from Verizon. The application was already created on their system but I needed to spend time to finish it. They sent the digital schedule so I could book time for the interview. The interview was then rescheduled 1 day before the interview. It was then cancelled 1 day before the rescheduled time. The communication was through automated digital scheduling system. The whole process is very disrespectful and seemed like a scam.
Phone screening then following with interviews back to back. Then got a call from HR received an offer overall the process is quick and interviewers are friendly good team and culture.
straight forward, one day of in person interviews. No difficult questions. Be prepared to ask about Verizon and the day to day requirements of the job. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the organization
All formal interviews, both internal and external, are STAR based questions (discussing the specific situation, task, action, and result). Not sure about how contractors are interviewed. It is only difficult if you aren't well versed in how to answer STAR questions.
