I applied online. I interviewed at Verizon (Virginia) in Jan 2015
Interview
I filled out my application on a Wednesday. I was contacted by a Manager the following week on Thursday about coming in for an interview. I scheduled my interview on Mobday. Met one-on-one with the manager and he asked me about the materials they sent to me. (Verizon Credo and Item of the Month) we talked a little bit about my background and he told me about his background. He asked a few STAR interview questions and I answered them honestly.
We then scheduled the follow up interview for Wednesday and I met at the store location with the General Manager. He asked the same type of questions he was a little more intimidating but still very nice and professional. After meeting with the GM I was then given time to look over the products offered in the store the. I was to do a few role plays and help out a few different types of customers and talk about the products. I was given feedback after I completed the role plays by another manager who I had not met prior. At the end of that they said that I would receive a call in the following week if I was offered the position. I was contacted the following week on Wednesday and offered a position pending drug test and background test. I was very honest throught the whole process so I knew I didn't have anything to worry about. Passed the drug test and background test and made arrangements for 3 weeks of new hire-traning after they found that everything was clear. I never contacted them to find out the status of anything they were very prompt and the HR representative was always 1 step ahead of me when it came to any questions I had. It was a super simple process.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you had to deal with a difficult customer?
Explain to me the results of that interaction for you, company and customer.
Interview process was pretty straightforward. They tend to bypass a lot of the fluff and want to see how you act as a member of a team and what you are going to do when you are in a tough situation regarding numbers and meeting “quota.”
