The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Jan 2011
Interview
I was contacted to have a phone interview with the person who would be my immediate supervisor. It went well and felt unscripted. I was told I would be contacted if there was further interest. 1 week later I got an email to confirm the date of a 1:1 interview with the same person but was never contacted initially to see if time and date was ok with me. Very scripted, thought it went well was once again told I would be contacted if they were interested. 2 weeks later I got another e-mail to come in and meet with the director. Another scripted interview. It went well. They gave me a tour of the building, introduced me to all the team members and showed me all the equipment I would be working on. Then never heard whether I got the job or not and it was posted on their website again a month later. I'm thinking of applying again. :>)
