I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Greenville, SC) in Oct 2014
Interview
I was called for a brief interview and asked basic questions. I got told I was invited to do an assessment at the call center location. The assessment was a breeze and I was told I would have another phone interview. I was thrown off a bit with the questions because I was at work when the person called however he explained what I needed to improve on for the face to face. I went for the interview 2 days later and did so well I could've patted my own self on the back. I got great vibes from the interviewer and he said I did very well he just was concerned about gaps in my work history which I explained. I was told I would hear back from someone soon. However, I never heard from anyone. I called and emailed but no one gave me an answer as to why I was never contacted good or bad. I even got a call AGAIN for a pre-screen interview and told the person what happened and still haven't heard from anyone.

Interviewer was surprisingly extremely rude and not flexible. I was excited for the interview but the hr rep clearly had preconceived attitudes. The gentleman definitely didn’t enjoy his job. The job itself seemed pretty straight forward
