      Solutions Specialist Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Sep 2015

      Interview

I applied back in the week of Sept. 7th online and got a call and an e mail from HR to set up a phone interview. We set up a phone interview for the following week and they sent me 2 e mails with the Verizon credo and an item of theirs (they will want you to study it so they can role play with you over the phone). The phone interview was alright HR was talking a bit fast but ask you questions about your work history and what you did in those jobs also ask if your comfortable working retail hours and with customers. If your bilingual they also want to verify that you are so half of the interview was in Spanish (you qualify for an extra $3000/yr if your bilingual). HR forgot to go over the item they sent me I later found out they were supposed to in my 3rd interview. If HR likes what you offer then they send you to a 2nd interview with a store manager for the store that you applied for. The store manager called me the next day and we set up a face to face interview at a different store for the following week. That interview they ask questions about your resume, qualifications, retail hours and etc. After they didn't say anything they just thanked me for going over. That weekend I got a call from the store manager and would want to interview me for the 3rd time the following week at the store that I would work at. We role played and I did good better then I expected and asked if I had any questions. Store manager said they will forward my information to HR so they can place an offer. Received a call from HR the following week and extended me an offer went over the pay, bonuses, commission, benefits and also asked for the month and year of the jobs I had in the past 5 years and then explained the following steps. I just did my drug screening and the company they work with is running a background check. They said it could take up to 10 days and if it goes good I would be able to start training in November. The process takes about a month and a half but it's been a great experience so far and I can't wait to start.

      Interview

Interview process was pretty straightforward. They tend to bypass a lot of the fluff and want to see how you act as a member of a team and what you are going to do when you are in a tough situation regarding numbers and meeting “quota.”

      Question 1

What would you do if you saw a team member adding perks to a customers account but not disclosing what they were adding?
