I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Jul 2014
Interview
My was odd, and fast tracked. I went into my local store to getmy phone fixed. I happened to mention that I was looking for a job because I had recently seperated from the Marine Corps, and the Store Manager jumped on it. I had a face to face with him on the spot, and was called by HR with a week. I had the job in less then 3 weeks, which apperently rare. I have heard of and seen people wait 3-4 months to actually get hired after accepting the position. Another oddity, I did my second face to face with both the General Manager, and the District Manager.
Interview process was pretty straightforward. They tend to bypass a lot of the fluff and want to see how you act as a member of a team and what you are going to do when you are in a tough situation regarding numbers and meeting “quota.”
