Initially, I was contacted for a phone interview that consisted of the basic questions of why I wanted to leave my current job and work for their company. I talked about my experience, salary expectations, and said I would be contacted for a personal interview.
The first interview was a dinner interview with my direct supervisor. He asked questions comprising basically my work ethic, projects I worked during my professional career, and my personality. Overall, my experience with the dinner interview was very positive.
The second day I interviewed at 10:00 am, and I gave a 10 minute presentaiton highlighting current projects I am working on my current job. After the question and answer I interviewed for 45 minutes to 1 hour with four different people. Most of the interview questions were concerned with how react in certain situations related to the pros and cons of the job. For example, they wanted to know how would I feel about traveling on last minute notice, being away from my family, the possibility of working overtime, etc.
At the end of the interview, I was verbally offered the job. After the interview, the company offered to help me look for apartments and get me oriented with the area.
My impressions of the company during the interview is that Versar takes care of their employees.
