I applied directly on their website and got contacted by a recruiter the next week for an interview mostly about my skills. I was later scheduled for a second phone interview the next week with the hiring manager(A Scientist) who asked more about my skills and what the position demands from me. I moved on to the next stage and was scheduled for an on-site interview the following week and that lasted about an 3 hours and 30 minutes. I was interviewed by 7 people(Scientists I, II, Associate Director, Director, HR rep.) and each session lasted 30 mins long. At the end of the interview, I was told to expect the decision in a week or two but I didn't hear from them. I followed up and I was told that the team had decided to move in another direction for the role.

I had already interviewed with the company before for another position, which I got rejected for. This position, however, I managed to get an onsite interview for instead. I went through the initial 30-minute phone screening with the hiring manager and a week later, I received an email from HR stating they wanted me in for an onsite interview with the hiring manager and the team for the specific department with this role. The onsite interview lasted for a total of 4 hours with 7 team members (scientists, technicians, and engineers) from the department, including the hiring manager, interviewing me for the role. Each team member's interview lasted for about 30-minutes including a short intro and conclusion with HR, all of them being one-on-one interviews. There were very few and simple technical questions, and they mostly asked behavioral questions pertaining to me and the company. At the conclusion, a member from HR escorted me out of the building and informed me a decision would likely be made within a week, pending two other candidates who were up for an onsite interview as well. Alas, today I received another rejection letter from them. Overall, a very positive experience with a professional, dedicated and warmhearted team, and I would love to be a candidate for any future positions they may have available.
