After weeks of playing phone tag with the recruiter. Thinking i got ghosted as the recruiter never called during our scheduled calls we finally connected. I had an interview with the hiring manager then moved forward to interviews with 5-6 people. I thought the interviews went really. Until the recruiters tried to pull a bait-and-switched the role, lowering both the title and the salary but still expecting me to perform the responsibility of a QA manager after weeks of interviews. So i turned down the job offer. The recruiters are giving the company a bad name. After that experience, i don't ever see myself applying for Vertex ever again.
