Tell me about a time when you were leading a project and had turnover within one of your critical functional groups.
I applied online and was contacted a day later for an interview. I first interviewed with the recruiter and then had a virtual interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager’s questions were based on textbook program management practice and not my experience or different problem solving situations. I never heard back from the recruiter or hiring manager despite following up.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Vertiv (Westerville, OH) in Oct 2024
Interview
I had 3 interviews throughout the process. The first is a screening interview which had been done months before moving onto a second interview. The second interview was with the hiring manager and I was told I would move onto the third interview. The third interview included a meeting with a director and a presentation that took me about 5 hours to prepare for their team. There were multiple people that sit in on the presentation and asked questions round robin. The panel interview was conducted on a Thursday. It was mentioned that I would hear back early the following week at the latest. However, I did not hear back for a few weeks without any communication until I received the rejection email without any feedback.
