Typical phone screening with HR then a video call with Hiring Manager and Strategy VP. Process moved quickly.
My real issue is how the pulled a bit of a bait and switch with this role. I was willing to take a lower salary to try something new (Account Executive), but they pivoted me into a Product/IT role that more closely aligns with my current background. When I explained to them that this would need to come with a higher salary given I have more experience in that area and it's a more technically demanding role, they ghosted me. Was disappointing after three interviews that had otherwise gone well.
