Interview
The process took about five weeks once the recruiter contacted me via email. I applied through the company website and heard back probably around two weeks after submitting my application. I went through four interview rounds and was told it could land around 7 rounds total after it was all said and done. They initially communicated they wanted to move quickly and have things wrapped up in about two weeks. Clearly that did not happen since the four rounds I went through took about five weeks. The first two rounds were generic screen calls and then third was with the hiring manager and fourth was a presentation with leadership. I was committed through the whole process and event met up with a current employee who I have previously worked with to learn more about the company. The consistent theme was they are very protective of the culture and really need more hands on deck with the stage they are at in growth but are picky with who they hire. I was enthusiastic to potentially join and be a part of this "amazing" culture everyone was talking about. Unfortunately though, while working here might be amazing, interviewing with Vetcove is the complete opposite. The skills assessment project I was given took so much time and effort and to be quite honest was a bit ridiculous compared to anything I had ever been asked to do before in a job interview. I felt like I was in a tryout for the job. They even had me practice sending emails. I felt I had done a great job at the presentation and achieved everything they asked me to complete. Unfortunately though, they ghosted me after my presentation was completed and gave no opportunity for questions or feedback. I followed up countless times with no response and finally got a generic sorry it took so long but we don't think you are a fit for this role. Why take someone through five weeks of interviewing, meet with leadership and ghost someone all to say they were never a fit in the first place. My advice...if you are interviewing here, tread lightly and don't let yourself get too attached during the interview process. There is a similar theme across reviews here online and it is clear they are looking for a needle in a haystack.

Very quick and to the point. Not a lot of discussion and did not feel that the woman who interviewed me was vested in what I had to say or bring to the table whatsoever.

Interview
Interview process took a little less than a month from start to finish. General process is 2-3 interviews to assess cultural fit, a presentation and assignment given to leadership to assess skills, interview with head of department/CEO, and then references/offer. This interview process is challenging but fair and 100% worth it if you can land an offer. Interviews at this company tend to be pretty relaxed with typical interview questions like "tell me about yourself" and "what's your ideal job". I have seen others say it's rare to get a job offer here. In my experience, it's very possible, but it's obvious that they value the company highly and only want to hire the best of the best. Tips: be yourself and put lots of work into the deliverable assignment.
