I applied for the position and I was given multiple assessments. There was about four assessments, one of which was a take home and took a week to complete. There was also some cognitive assessments. After submitting the take one assessment I got invited for a virtual interview. About a week goes by until my interview. On the morning of my interview, I got an email from WebEx that my interview was cancelled. A few minutes later a HR corridinator emails me to say my recruiter will reach out with an update. Later in the afternoon, I get an automated message from VU that the hiring for this position was being postponed. I was pretty upset. I deserve more than an automated message. I was excited for the interview and did a lot of prep. Of course, I reached out to my recruiter on my own and asked for additional details. I was very polite. The recruiter was very nice in return. I understand these things happen but not the day of my interview. And I was pretty far along in the interview process, only to get an automated message. I think that was unprofessional.
