I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Madison, WI) in Jun 2012
Interview
I participated in a group interview with questions focusing on how you would fit in with the brand and customer service abilities. Before I got there, I had no idea this would be a group interview. It was held in the crowded back stockroom with employees coming in and out for merchandise or to take their break.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
