I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (New York, NY) in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied online on a Sunday afternoon, and got a call to set up an interview the next day. I set up my interview for that Wednesday. It was suppose to be a total of 3 girls including myself but one of them didn't show up. The manager took us to the food court at the mall and was very nice and friendly. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The other girl and I both got the job and start on Friday of the same week we applied. I would say to look very confident even if you don't feel it. It can be a bit intimidating but once you answer the first question it will get easier. The interview lasted for about 20-25 mins. Just be yourself and hopefully your personality shows through in your interview, don't be overly excited or preppy! Although the dress code is all black, I didn't wear it to the interview and was perfectly fine. Good Luck and hopefully this helps anyone else out!
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
