Interview
I apply online then they sent me an email to ask me my availability for a phone interview. they did not call me so I called the shop by myself.
The question of the interview is quite simple: why do you want to work at VS? What is a good sales experience?
After that she told me that I was taken for the second group interview a few days later. we were 6 girls (come dress all in black is very important).
We had 3 exercise; the first was to introduce ourselves; why did we want to work at VS? and an interesting fact about us.
Then we had the right to two different questions each.
After we had a group exercise with pen; paper, stock
We were 2 groups of 3.
We had to build something tall and big in a group in 5 min.
The last exercise was a sales simulation alone with the recruiters; with a scenario.
For me it was about a girl coming to see a present for her sister but do not know Victoria's secret and her sister likes the brand. Then the same evening I was contacted; I had a feedback from the interview and I was hired.
Interview was fairly easy. My hiring manager had me there on the spot for onboarding. Process went fairly quickly, and I was trained shortly after. I started on the week of black Friday which was a little rough, but it wasn't too bad. My hiring manager was kind but some of the other managers aren't as nice.

Interview
I have never felt more disrespected and belittled in an interview in my life. My job history was ridiculed, my character was ridiculed. I’m well above the age of being a minor and I was talked down to as such. My interview lasted a whopping 7 minutes.. I was 10 minutes early… I do not remember the name of the woman who interviewed me, but I highly recommend finding anyone else to interview candidates. She didn’t know how to talk to me without a condescending tone and attitude, and what was expected, schedule wise, of the position was not fully mentioned in the job listing. I filled out the application on Victoria’s Secrets’ website, filled out the availability form online, but still was made to refill it out in person and reiterated my entire job history. The job history I filled out manually on their website, and then attached the file for my resume. Still, I was made to reiterate the last 3 job I had, was stopped before the forth job, and belittled that all I have to show is seasonal work. My interviewer had no want to get to know me or my circumstances. She did not care about the interview process and she treated me like I was wasting her time even though the store had 0 customers at the time. If she was willing to treat and talk to me like that during interview, how would I had been treated after I was hired?
