I applied online on Friday by Monday I received a phone call to come in for an interview. They interview was very laid back and was easy to talk to the manager. By the next friday I received a call saying I got the job.

Since I have never worked in retail/sales before what could I do to push myself to achieve my goals?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
