There was a new store opening in a mall nearby and I emailed my resume to the email address listed on the mall's "Job Opportunities" page. After emailing my resume, I got an email with a list of dates to pick from to have my group interview. I responded with my first, second, and third choice of dates and times and received an email confirming my second choice for date and time. All the email had was date, time, and place of my interview. The interview was held in the mall food court. My experience was a large group interview with around fifteen other girls and two interviewers. To start the interview each person had to introduce themselves and share a little about themselves and why they want to work at Victoria's Secret. There was no order of who speaks when so to get an answer in was a little challenging with a group so large. I would say there were about ten or more situational/prior experience questions asked to the group. Examples: In your past experience, has there ever been any conflict between you and another coworker? If so, what were your actions / what was the outcome? - Some people who had not had a job before based their experience on conflicts within their sports teams or group work in school. If you saw a coworker being dishonest such as stealing, what would you do? Describe an experience where you worked as a part of a team to successfully accomplish a goal? Tell us about a time when you were in a leadership position and how it went. How would you respond to a customer who is upset? The interview was quite long (probably because the group was so large). After the formal interview, they had everybody fill out an application. I would suggest going online and printing out an application and filling it out beforehand. Basically everybody, including the interviewers, were dressed in black.
