Interview
This company is still strictly paper application. I filled one out and the manger talked to me for a few minutes after I turned it in. I was called about two days later and asked to come in for an interview. She asked me basic questions (What is it we sell, and why do you want to work her) and then asked me to sell the store credit card to a few of the customers that walked into the store. I felt like it was a mini audition. After that she gave me a number to call so that I could do a phone survey.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
